01/27/02 - GBA BACKLIGHT project announced!!!!
02/04/02 - Parts for the GBA backlight were supposed to arive today but they did not arrive.
02/12/02 - Many days later I get the parts in my hot little hands. It turns out the parts have been here just not at my place. I had to threaten the supplier before they did any thing!!!! Besides the point finals are now 2 weeks away so the project gets delayed another 2 weeks, yippie.
03/18/02 - I believe that it is unessary to say but FINALS SUCK!!!! Its been several weeks since my last update. The backlight project has suffered a major setback. The EL driver that I ordered was a surface mount device. So when I tried to solder leads on to its delicate pins i broke one off...One of my buddies knows someone that will mount the device for me. I don't know how long it will take to get it working but I have to order a few more drivers. Now that I'm back in school I will be updating my site regularly now I also have a contact e-mail you can send questions or comments to basicasm@cox.net. Goodnight.
04/15/02 - I made the font larger on the pages except the project page. Once I reinstall some software on my puter I will start uploading the tuts for the circuit sections. I'm looking for help in maintaining this site. Even if you are an amature hobbyist that is just starting out I would like some help. 06/17/02 - I bought a new toy.....a Nvidia Gforce4 ti 4200 with 64MB of DDR......ohhhh I can't stop drueling.....More news. Today the Unites States stomped Mexico in round two of the World Cup 2-0 the first American shutout since 1950 something I believe. GO U.S.A.
In other news I will actually be updating stuff on the site. I have bought a scanner and have been making notes on DC circuit analysis. If you spot any errors please be kind and let me know. I planned to use software to produce the images but I have almost burnt all my licences with EWB. So I will be putting up jpegs of engineering paper with my notes on them.

07/30/02 - Hello again to anyone who actually visits my site. I have not been doing much lately. I play alot of counter-strike. I have discovered that I can not complete my homework. I understand the concepts perfectly, just can not apply them. And it shows in my grades. I'm very confident that I have just wasted my money on my education, which is killing me. The decision to move to Phoenix was the biggest mistake in my life. I should have gone to ITT in Spokane. DeVry is a terrible place and though we make fun of ITT students the ITT students get the same education as we do. The difference is in the price you pay for your education. I think the most annoying thing about DeVry is the way they handle your financial aid. At best they will just loose some paper work. But they have lost entire loans for some of my friends. I should have enough loans to cover my entire education but DeVry has screwed it up and I have to pay them alot every month. If you are considering attending DeVry do not believe the person that comes to your house and tells you that will pay 75 bucks a month. I was told the very same lie. The Educard is like a credit card, just as they explain. What they dont tell you is that all charges must be paid off by the end of the term. And from your balane they calculate your monthly payment. I have yet to see one bill for 75 they run from 200 to over 400 a month. Trying to live plus pay this amount is very difficult. Since you must work full time to pay your rent plus your education bills. I hate my school :)
